Identifying, Targeting & Attracting Your Perfect Customers Presented By Rebecca Holman For Women For The Web January 2015

1 “Your ability to clearly define and focus in on the customers who can most rapidly buy your product or service will be essential to your business success.” -Brian Tracy “Most entrepreneurs aren't clear about their ideal customer. For this reason, they waste a lot of time and money trying to sell their product to people who aren't good potential customers.” -Brian Tracy

3  Your ability to find a customer, sell to that customer, and satisfy that customer so that he/she buys from you again should be the central focus of all your entrepreneurial activity.  The greater clarity you have about your perfect customer, the more effective your marketing efforts will be.  The most important activity is to identify the very best customers for your product, and then focus all marketing, advertising/promotion, and sales efforts on this particular type of customer.

4 What is involved?  Take time to THINK about WHOM YOU want to work with  What kinds of personalities do YOU work best with  Imagine a CLEAR picture of who you will attract  Is “location” important? Imagine it clearly  WHEN do you need this to happen by? Write a date down  BELIEVE …COMMIT…VISUALIZE DAILY

Do you ONLY accept jobs aligned with YOUR values?  Evaluate your core values, if you are not sure of them  Know They Self Ask yourself:  What do I love?  What is perfect for me  What do I want to attract more of in my business/workspace YOU BECOME MAGNETIC – The RIGHT people seek YOU out – You know when to say NO 5

6 Are You a Lighthouse or a Search Light? Ask yourself:  Are You Shining Your Light OR  Are You Operating from Scarcity Mode?  How Often Do You STOP Believing in Yourself to Compromise? KNOW..BELIVE… TRUST  Your Perfect Customer (LOVER), BOSS, will connect with you when YOU are CLEAR about who YOU are  STOP trying to be everything to everyone

7 Let’s get more specific  Ask yourself:  What TYPE of relationships do you want to attract?  Take time to think of all the relationship touch points that exist in your business/life Clients Customers Workshop Attendee Coach/Mentor Employer/Employee Soul Mate/Dinner Date  Choose ONE for now..then go home and consider ways to attract for multiple relationships.

8 What makes up your perfect customer? Ask yourself:  What does “PERFECT FOR ME” look like? Think of people that you enjoy the most What are their characteristics  Have you ever had the “Perfect” Customer, Boss, Lover? What made them that way for YOU  Law of Attraction..Like Attracts Like  What motivates you? Be Specific… BE PICKY

9 What makes you and your PERFECT customer tick? Ask yourself:  This is ONE statement  My relationships tick when I… Law Of Attraction says you attract those who tick the same way..that is being in alignment. What gets you out of bed in the morning? When you are working in the right place with the right people it is NOT work it is effortless.

10 What is expected of YOU? Ask yourself: This is NOT a one way process You are also accountable to your customer or partner What would a perfect customer expect OF YOU? You must be in alignment with these things or you are not being honest with yourself..and won’t attract your perfect customer. Your perfect customer wants for YOU what YOU want for yourself.

11 You must BECOME to Attract Declare Who You ARE OUTLOUD..  When you make a public statement you announce to the Universe you are READY to play I AM PASSIONATE  It shifts your mindset from Poor Me to I AM PASSIONATE  You become a beacon that others are attracted to

12 Make A List of Your Goals & Next Attractive Actions  What do YOU need to do to be more attractive to YOURSELF?  What do you need to do to be more in alignment and congruent with those goals?  This is NOT ABOUT JUDGEMENT..it is about GROWTH  I am here..what steps do I need to take to get me there?  Keep an ATTRACTION JOURNAL An ATTRACTIVE Action is in alignment with you, YOUR plan, YOUR core values and YOUR being.

Summing It All Up Step 1 – DESCRIBE the qualities, characteristics, and attributes of my Perfect JV Partner Step 2 – IDENTIFY what makes me and my perfect customer TICK. Step 3 – SPECIFY what I want my perfect JV partners to expect of me. Step 4 – DECLARE who I get to be to attract what I have on my plan. Step 5 – ACTIVATE Take Attractive Actions and Avoid Dazzling Distractions. 31
