Stormy was unhappy because he was still too large to stay on any ship and he was lonely. For years Stormy was the most famous sea captain in the world. When Stormy died, thousands of sailors came to see him. They were very sad, they cried and sang a song about him. 47

He decided to leave his seafaring life and walked as far from the sea as he could. When he reached Kansas, he decided to stay there and became the best farmer. But he was still unhappy and felt a great yearning for the sea. Stormy returned to Boston Harbor, but people were horrified when they saw how bad he looked. The sailors decided to build a ship that was big enough for him. Stormy was very happy and named his ship The Courser and sailed all over the world. 5 6
