CrewFetch is a personal locator beacon (PLB) which imposes itself as a reference for the safety of seamen. The most compact and ergonomic beacon on the market Extremely light, with a weight of 100 g., the CrewFetch beacon fits perfectly and with discretion in any equipment for individual protection against the risk of drowning : life jackets with inflator and all PFDs (buoyancy integrated work clothes). Sailors and fishermen can carry it without any discomfort, unlike other bulkier beacons. Triggered automatically, it will be also activated in the case of an unconscious sailor. Even considering a person falling in the sea fully conscious, that person will be most likely in a state of shock and will loose the ability to think, activate the beacon and hold it at arm’s length well above water. The ship is immediately informed of the incident Alerted by an audio and visual alarm, the crew can therefore check the identity of the man overboard on the CrewFetch terminal, each beacon is equipped with a unique identification ( number or name ), and above all, its falling location, the man overboard positions are regularly updated and include the direction to be followed and the distance to reach him. A vital assistance considering that, at night for example, a man at sea cannot be spotted visually from over 50 meters and that, in windy conditions, his calls for help will stay unheard. Furthermore, the CrewFetch beacon will remain active for at least 24 hours. The CrewFetch ships to your rescue ! Every ships equipped with the CrewFetch system and present on the zone will be immediately alerted of the situation and will be able to join the rescue operation. The unique identification of the beacon will immediately identify as a none member of the crew the man overboard. Mail :

The system CrewFetch is composed of 4 elements The Beacon Integrated in every life jackets, it communicates with your system on board as well as the other ships present on zone The Antenna The ear of the system always listening. It will inform you almost immediattly of a MOB situation. The Screen The intuitive and easy to use human-machine interface. The Central The brain of the system wich will interface with other equipment from the ship (NMEA0183).
