APRIL 21, DAY 1 We will call you Shark Bait!

DAY 1 ON THE FIRST DAY WE GOT SHARKIE HE WAS SMALL AND LITTLE. HE DIDN’T DO MUCH EXCEPT FOR FLOAT AROUND IN HIS DISH SHARKIE DID NOT HAVE ANY SIGN OF A HEART BEAT TODAY HE IS AT STAGE 18 WHICH MEANS HIS KEEL HAS GOTTEN WIDER INTO TWO DIVISIONS OF THE RUDIMENTARY BRAIN. HIS KUPFFER’S VESICLE ALSO BEGINS TO FORM!

APRIL 22, DAY 2

DAY 2 WE CAN TELL THAT SHARKIE IS GETTING BIGGER HE LOOKS MORE LIKE HE IS A SHEAR RATHER THEN A FLAT CIRCLE TODAY SHARK BAIT IS AT STAGE 23 SO THAT MEANS HE IS DEVELOPING AND WE HAVENT KILLED HIM YET. TODAY, WE COULD SEE SMALL BLOOD ISLANDS ON THE YOLK, ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO CIRCULATION OCCURRING YET.

APRIL 23, DAY 3

DAY 3 TODAY YOU CAN SEE THAT SHARK BAIT IS STARTING TO RESEMBLE A FISH THIS WAS THE FIRST DAY THAT WE SAW HIS LITTLE HEART BEATING, SO HE MUST BE ALIVE! HIS HEAT BEATED 102 BEATS PER MINUTE WE CAN SEE THE BLOOD THAT HIS HEART IS PUMPING THOUGH OUT HIS BODY AND HIS EYES WE THINK SHARKIE IS HAVING A LOT OF FUN BECAUSE EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE HE WILL DANCE BUT SOME PEOPLE WOULD SAY THAT HE IS TWITCHING NOW SHARKIE IS AT STAGE 25. THIS MEANS THAT SKARKIE’S TAIL IS FREE OF THE YOLK SAC, LENGTHENED, AND STILL STRAIGHT.

APRIL 26, DAY 6 I think Sharkie has my eyes!

DAY 6 THIS IS A PICTURE OF SHARKIE FROM THE FRONT TODAY, SHARKIE IS AT STAGE 27, MEANING BODY MOVEMENTS HAVE INCREASED IN FREQUENCY AND BLOOD CIRCULATION IS STRONG. NOW 26 SOMITES CAN BE COUNTED. HIS BLOOD IS A PINK COLOR AND HIS HEART IS BEATING 150 BEATS PER MINUTE

APRIL 27, DAY 7 He is getting so big!

DAY 7 TODAY SKARKIE’S BLOOD IS LOOKING MORE OF A RED COLOR HIS HEART IS NOW BEATING 127 BEATS PER MINUATE NOW SHARKIE IS AT STAGE 28 WHICH MEANS THAT HIS BLOOD IS TURNING A MORE VIVID PINK COLOR, AND THE TAIL HAS GOTTEN BIGGER.

APRIL 28, DAY 8

DAY 8 TODAY SHARKIE IS AT STAGE 29 MEANING THAT HIS HEAVILY PIGMENTED RETINA CAN BE SEEN THROUGH. HIS TAIL LASHED AROUND TODAY, AND HIS WHOLE BODY SEEMED TO MOVE. SHARKIES HEART WAS BEATING 110 BEATS PER MINUTE

APRIL 29, DAY 9 I think that Shark Bait is starting to look like me!

DAY 9 SHARKIE IS AT STAGE 30, THIS MEANS THAT HIS TAIL CAN REACH TO HIS EYE, AND THE PECTORAL FIN HAS SHOWN MOVEMENT. SHARKIE’S HEART BEAT WAS 139 BEATS PER MINUTE

APRIL 30, DAY 10

DAY 10 SHARK BAIT IS AT STAGE 32 WHICH MEANS THAT HIS LIVER HAS GOTTEN LARGER, AND THE EYE IS MORE VISIBLE. We think that Shark Bait is getting ready to hatch soon because he is moving a lot like he is ready to come out of his egg

HATCHING DAY!

HATCHING DAY SHARKIE HAS REACHED HIS FINAL STAGE, 36. THIS IS HIS 11 TH DAY, SO HE PROGRESSED TO HIS FULLEST AT APPROXIMATELY 1:14 P.M. THANKFULLY WE DIDN’T KILL HIM NOW THAT SHARKIE IS A MATURE ADULT, WE HAVE HOPES AND DREAMS THAT HE WILL GROW UP AND GET MARRIED AND HE TO WILL HAVE A BABY MEDAKA EGG TO CARE FOR!
