Search for a location by place name, grid reference, coordinates, or by clicking on the map.

The 2 up View shows two historic maps of the same location but from different decades, at the same time. This allows places to be shown side by side to see how the landscape has changed over time. 2up View

Print the map Click the icon to create a PDF of the map, which can be printed. Options are given on the left for customisation. Generate a file for printing add map title, choose print format option to include annotations, national gridlines move map around in preview

Historic Download allows you to select and download historical Ordnance Survey maps from Landmark Information Group for use in graphics, GIS or CAD software

There are 3 different historical mapping products to choose from.

Select from the given options, including Original Sheets, National Grid Tiles, or Both.

Search for locations with place names, Grid Refs, Historic County or Parish. Select Tiles then click Continue. Select a map product.
