A______________ is a form of government where political authority is monopolized by a single person or political entity, and exercised through various mechanisms to ensure the entity's power remains strong A ______________ is a form of government that has a single person known as a monarch at its head. Monarchs use titles as king, queen, emperor, or empress. Monarchs were once common throughout the world, but now they are rare. A ___________is a form of government in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. Royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate, religious or military control could distinguish these people. democracy, dictatorship, monarchy, oligarchy
