My name is Samuel Adams. I was an American Patriot, Journalist, and Statesman This is my story as told by Mrs. Swetits.

List 5 facts about yourself. Born September 27, 1722 in Boston, Mass. Father, Samuel was a brewer Mother, Mary was a homemaker 12 children – all but 3 died Boston Grammar School and Harvard College (1743) Famous cousin – John Adams became 2 nd President Married twice and had 5 children

My life before the Revolutionary War List events in chronological order before Started newspaper, The Independent Advertiser in 1748 and wrote about politics. Active member of the Sons of Liberty 1765 elected to the Massachusetts General Assembly helped to form Committees of Correspondence With Paul Revere, led “The Boston Tea Part” on December 16, elected to First Continental Congress in Philadelphia.
