Quantity, timescale and selection Decision made to send stock to CASS in early metres (c. 35,000 volumes) in 2 batches of 500 metres each June 2004 and October 2004

Selection Question: "how do you select material in terms of the collection and usage but also select in terms of ease of administration and cataloguing?" Periodicals vs. monographs? Scientific periodicals larger runs of periodicals to reduce the number of catalogue records.

Planning for OPAC  Show work was in progress  Ensure clarity for users re. the locations of the CASS stock  Create a link to the CASS website and catalogue from each of our catalogue records  Ensure clarity to show periodicals holdings, especially for split runs  Retain the integrity of our own catalogue
