Antonym: A word that has the opposite meaning of another word. Examples: Neat Messy Fast Slow Fat Skinny An antonym is a word that what? An antonym is a word that has the opposite meaning as what? What is an antonym?

Why do I need to learn this? Antonyms help us determine the meaning of words, and if we can determine the meaning of words, we become better readers. Does anybody have any other reason why this is important? Why is it important to you?
