The Cay Author: Theodore Taylor By: Greg H.

The book that I am recently reading is called the cay. The reason its called the cay is because a cay is a island witch is what they get stranded on. But the story is about a boy and his family and his mom want to go back to the United States Of America because people were attacking were they live so the mom wants to move to Miami. After 3 days on the ship called the Hati they were torpedoed and he ended up on a raft with a black guy and his mom does not like black guys and Phillip the kid stared at the sun and got blind. And got stranded on a island with the black guy Timothy he was orphan. Later there is a horrible storm that wipes them out. I don’t want to tell you the rest but read it it’s a great story.

Timothy : aventerus,stong,brave Phillip: Young,playful,cool,Nice Phillips Mom : Nice,Worried,genores Phillips dad : hard,worker,kind,cool

THE most exiting part of the book for me was when the live threw the horrible storm but later on timothy dies witch is sad.

I most enjoyed when they got rescued. I did not enjoys when timothy died because it is sad. I recommend you read this book for people that like adventures and likes survival.

This book is a great book and some connections are. This book is fun to read during free time. I recon this for people that like to explore. Read the rest of the book and make your own connections.

THIS IS THE ISLAND THEY GET STRANDED ON
