Volunteering is the practice of people working on behalf of others or a particular cause without payment for their time and services. An altruistic activity, intended to promote good or improve human quality of life, but people also volunteer for their own skill development, to meet others, to make contacts for possible employment, to have fun, and a variety of other reasons that could be considered self- serving. What is volunteering?

AIESEC in Bosnia Sarajevo

AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina exists since 1953, which makes us one of the oldest AIESEC countries in the world. As part of former Yugoslavia, LC Sarajevo was the first LC from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since than, thousands of students were AIESEC members. AIESEC Bosnia and Herzegovina gained member status as independent country in In the beginning of the 2000's LC Sarajevo became a full member and four years later LC Mostar. So, today AIESEC Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of two LCs.

Projects What do we do? -Project based on exchange that promotes awarenes about HIV and sexual health among students. Pbox HIV Red alert -Project based on exchanges that is made in order to prevent delinquncy among youngsters by providing them activities to fulfil their free time. Pbox Yes We Can -Job and exchange fair that offers youngster a chance to apply for different jobs inside the country and internships all around the world. “Change you can”

Conferences What do we do? -Anual national conference with international facilitators that is based on motivating youth, upgrading their leadership skills and teching them how to function in global and international community. Future Leadership Motivation Seminar -National conference held twice a year at which we regrut new members, go through reports and situation in the organization during the past year. It also includes elections for president and executive board of organization. Summer and Winter National Conference -Local conference which aims to bond members of local comitees of organization. It is constructed out of interactive workshops, simulations and sessions. Local Trainig Seminar
