 One among nine municipalities which are consisting Sarajevo Canton  Surface is 33km2 and total border length is 43,3 km  Distance between the most northern and southern point is 12,2 km and between western and eastern is 5,5 km  Economically most attractive area in the Canton Sarajevo, which is why a large number of people live in a relatively small area Municipality Centar Sarajevo

 Municipal budget is stable and amounted to 41,372,248 BAM (about 21 million €) in  Heavily mountainous territory  The area is characterized by a vertical profile, which creates natural conditions for development of exogenous phenomena such as slope instability and landslides  Water resources are made by numerous surface waters, some of which are permanent and some temporary  When it comes to climate characteristics, we can say that up to 600m above sea level is continental climate, while above this height is continental - mountain climate type Municipality Centar Sarajevo
