Retell a story $100,000

Nick won $100,000 from gambling. After he came back, he immediately went to the backyard of his house, dug a hole and planted the money in it. The following morning he walked outside and found only an empty hole. He noticed footsteps leading from the hole to the house next door, which was owned by a Russian woman.

On the same street lived a professor who spoke Russian and was a friend of the Russian woman. Grabbing his gun, Nick went to awaken the professor. He dragged the professor to the Russian woman’s house. “You tell her if she doesn’t give me back my $100,000, I’m going to kill her.” Nick screamed at the professor.

The professor told the message to his friend, and she replied in Russian, “ï hid it in my backyard, underneath the apple tree.” The professor turned to Nick and said, “She’s not going to tell you. She said she’d rather die first.”

Describe a story Now look at the series of cartoon pictures and try to describe what happened.

deathbed Mr. Brown is lying on his deathbed, barely able to breathe. At this moment, the smell of freshly baked cookies comes to him. He has always liked home-made cookies and thinks to himself, Íf I could just have one more cookie, I could die in peace!’ hear him He calls to his wife but his voice is so weak that she cannot hear him

Not getting an answer, he slides out of the bed and onto the floor. Not getting an answer, he slides out of the bed and onto the floor. Down the hall and down the stairs he goes ever so slowly. At the bottom of the stairs he pulls himself along painfully, crawling hand over hand closer to that heavenly smell. He drags himself across the living room into the dining room. Making one

Great final effort, he throws himself toward the dining table, landing on his knees. His dry lips part, and the taste of the cookies is already in his mouth, seemingly bringing him back to life. He reaches across the table and grabs the plate of the cookies.

As he drags the plate towards himself, it makes a scraping sound, and suddenly he hears his wife yell from the kitchen, “Don’t touch the cookies. They’re for the funeral!”
