W INE TASTING EXCURSION PROGRAM

D AY 1 – C OAST REGION The program: We pick you up in front of your hotel in the morning or in the afternoon it depends on the arrangement. The first stop is in Koper, Vinakoper to be exact, where you will be given the tour of the wine cellar and offered to taste their finest wines Refošk and Malvazija. Marezige: tourist farm “at the Wine-queen’s” tasting of typically Istrian home made food, olive oil and of course wine in a relaxing, green environment A short tour around the coast region and to Dekani Dekani: Brič is a beautiful restaurant and a wine shop. Here you will be served lunch and enjoy a little relax on the balcony with a view. After dinner we will take you back to your hotel.

D AY 2 – K ARST REGION The program: Križ: The first stop will be in the Wine cellar Umek where you can try their special Karst wines like Kraški Teran. Štanjel: Wines Švagelj - tasting of a range of renown wines will be accompanied by a snack (typical Karst prsut – smoked ham). After the snack a tour of the Štanjel castle will take place. Sveto: The last stop for the day will introduce you to the Touristic Farm Abram – Žerjal where you can expect a typical Karst dinner and a nice beauty sleep in their accommodations.

D AY 3 – G ORIŠKA B RDA The program: Dobrovo: Wine cellar Goriška Brda. This is one of the biggest wine cellars in Slovenia, selling their excellent wine across the World. Here a professional sommelier will see to it that you can learn as much as possible about their wines and the characteristics of the Brda region. And you will, of course, be offered to sample the best known wines of the cellar. Dobrovo: tour of the castle Dobrovo followed by a snack (prsut – smoked ham and cheese) at the castle’s restaurant and wine-tasting in the castle’s winery. A rellaxed bus-tour around Goriška Brda. Medana: Movia, one of the most famous wine producers in Slovenia. Tasting of their wine and dinner with typically local food in a nice rustic cellar with all modern ammenities. After dinner return back to Koper late in the evening.

T ERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PROGRAM Price per person: 3 days all inclusive price = 299 € or 79 € per day (no accommodation) The price includes: transport, English tourist guide, accommodations**/***, B&B, tastings, sightseeing Duration: 3 days or 1 day of your choosing Pick – up: At the hotel (the exact hour will be confirmed a few days in advance) Drop – off: At the hotel (in the evening) Participants: At least 10, groups of 20 people and more will be entitled to a further discount of 10% on the above prices
