 SITING YOUR TRAMPOLINE  Your trampoline works best and is safest if it is dead level. If your trampoline is fitted with a safety enclosure then potential hazards within 2 metres of the trampoline like paving stones, fences, pools, tree trunks and buildings will not be critical. Without a safety enclosure it is vital to keep clear 2 metres of lawn space all round the trampoline.  Always ensure that the area above the trampoline is clear of overhead cable and branches. Even if the cables and branches are way up high, birds will roost on them and use your trampoline for target practice.  Garden trampolines are designed to stand on a lawn. If they are on concrete or gravel the underside of the leg bases will wear away quite quickly. If you are planning to site your Trampoline on concrete or on a patio you should fix floor guards to your Trampoline legs.  If you need to level your trampoline try and raise one side by the same distance that you sink the other. That way you still have sufficient clearance beneath the trampoline to prevent larger and more energetic bouncers bottoming out and hitting the ground. Unless the slope is very slight just blocking up the lower legs will not work well as the trampoline will tend to move down the slope and fall off the blocks. It is better to create a groove for the uphill legs to rest in or alternatively ground anchor them so they cannot creep down hill. A quick and simple way to check that your trampoline is level is to take off a spring and see if it will roll downhill on the trampoline bed. 2

Lay frame components out on a level grass surface. Assemble the frame as shown below, ensuring the small holes along the frame side and frame ends face upwards. When fitting the frame ends, note that the slight misalignment is designed to add tension to the frame. Attach the leg braces with the supplied bolts. Please do not over tighten. 4

Fit the bed to the frame. First ensure it is the correct way up – any raises should be on the underside with a smooth upper surface. Note each spring has a long and short hook. Attach the short end to the bed and the long end to the frame. To make it easier you can use a spring. 5

Attach eight springs between the frame and bed, two at each corner of the frame. This evens the tension around the trampoline making it far easier to fit the remaining springs. 6

Now attach the remaining springs to the bed. Do not attempt to fit all the springs along one side first, as this will create too much tension on that side, making fitting the opposite springs very hard. Alternate each spring on length and width. 7

Contents: 2 x Side Frame Pads fitted with corner pockets at each end. 2 x End Frame Pads printed with screen printed caution notice. 14 x 165mm toggle loops. 6 x 205mm toggle loops. 1. Lay each section of the frame pads upside down in the position they will assume once assembled. 8

With frame pads spread upside down, pass the black plastic toggle loops through the eyelets by threading the loop of the toggle loop through eyelet ‘A’ and then use a screwdriver type object to push through the loop of the toggle loop out of eyelet ‘B’. Ensuring that the longer 205mm toggle loops are passed through the sections of the Frame Pads that will cover the part of the Frame with double side rails. (This is the three central set of holes on each long side pad). 3. Turn over the frame pads and lay them evenly around the edge of the trampoline so that the frame and springs are covered. 4. Feed rounded end of each short end pad into corner pocket at end of each long pad. 5. To fix to frame pass black plastic toggle around frame and insert into loop of elastic cable near inside of frame, beneath pads. 9

Important Always position the trampoline on a level area of lawn, away from trees or buildings. Never exceed the 120kg (19 stone) maximum user weight of the trampoline. Never wear shoes when bouncing and always inspect the complete trampoline before use and replace any worn or damaged parts. 10
