Bondage to Egypt Bondage to Sin & Death 400 yrs. of physical slavery in Egypt 400 Silent years in the Bible from the Old to the New Covenants 14 th Day of Nisan15 th Day of Nisan16 th Day of Nisan Passover Jesus’s Death on the Cross-30AD Exodus 12:22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood in the basin, and touch the lintel above the door and the two side posts with the blood. Blood of lambs on the doorposts in Egypt. The Jews left the bondage of Egypt Feast of Unleavened Bread Jesus’s Burial Jesus lived his whole life without sin. He died with no sin in Him. Jesus took our sins away. 1 Corinthians 5:7 Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. Lasts for 7 days Neither Leavened food nor any leaven in the house is allowed. This feast commemorates the Exodus from Egypt. All males go to Jerusalem. Feast of First fruits (Barley Harvest) Jesus’s Resurrection First fruits of people in Sheol/Hades are resurrected. These resurrected people go to Heaven and wait for the judgment and the books to be opened. Rev. 14:4 1 Corinthians 15:20 But the fact is that Christ (the Messiah) has been raised from the dead, and He became the firstfruit s of those who have fallen asleep Feast of Weeks, ( Day of First fruits, Feast of Harvests) Pentecost 1) The Law (Ten Commandments) were given to the nation Israel written on tablets of stone. 2) 3,000 people died for the golden calf worship. 3) Covenant of Death 4) God’s betrothal to the nation Israel. 5) God commands leaven to be used. 6) Signs and Wonders given. All males go to Jerusalem. 1) Holy Spirit was given to “Israel of God.” Law was written on their hearts by the spirit of God. 2) 3,000 people received life. 3) Covenant of Life 4) God’s betrothal to the Church. 5) While men are sinful (contain leaven), they have the Holy spirit. 6) Signs and Wonders given. People from all nations heard the word in their own language Physical Israel- The shadow The 4 Spring Feasts Spiritual Israel- The reality Jesus’s First Coming 40 year Wilderness Generation 40 year ‘Last Days’ Generation 50 days later from the crossing of the Red Sea. 50 days later from Jesus’s resurrection Christians left the bondage of Sin & Death through the Blood of Christ John 19:29 A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so they put a sponge full of the sour wine upon a branch of hyssop and brought it up to His mouth. This was the time to reap the harvest, and to wave a sheaf of the first fruits of barley before the LORD, at the temple, by the priest, expressing thankfulness for the land.

Feast of Trumpets- State of Alertness Rosh Hashanah- “Head of Year” 1 st day of Tishri (7 th month) 10 th of Tishri (7 th month) Day of Atonement- Yom Kippur (to cover) Feast of Tabernacles- Feast of Ingathering 15 th of Tishri 7 th Feast in the 7 th month Lasting 7 days 7 represents completion End of 40 year physical exodus, Inheritance to promised land. Nation built portable tabernacles to dwell in for 7 days. All males go to Jerusalem. High Priest enters the Holy of Holies once a year. He stood before the Presence of God’s Glory. Passover deliverance was consummated. It was mandated to fast on this day. The high priest was required to wear holy garments woven from white linen (which were never worn again) instead of his normal colorful garments overlaid with the golden breastplate. Israel’s sins for the previous year were covered up. Christ took our sins away forever for all time. We boldly stand before the Presence of God. Deliverance from sin consummated. Redemption is finally complete. Hebrews 2:17 So it is evident that it was essential that He be made like His brethren in every respect, in order that He might become a merciful (sympathetic) and faithful High Priest in the things related to God, to make atonement and propitiation for the people's sins. End of 40 year spiritual exodus. Inheritance of the New Heaven & Earth where God dwells with men. People now either go to Heaven or hell upon death. Hebrews 8:2 As officiating Priest, a Minister in the holy places and in the true tabernacle which is erected not by man but by the Lord. No one knew the day or hour. God blows the final trumpet. Jerusalem fell in 70AD Rev. 8:27 Angels with 7 trumpets. Rev. 18:10,20 Woe, Great City has fallen! Rejoice saints, prophets. Jesus comes in the glory of his Father with his angels with the sound of a trumpet gathering his elect. Amos 5:20-Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it? That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation. Rev. 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, " The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever." The wicked could not enter Heaven. Trumpet is blown The only feast celebrated on the 1 st day of the month on a dark New Moon. In Joshua 6:20, Seven Priests with the ark marched with 7 trumpets around Jericho for 6 days. On the 7 th day they marched 7 times then blew trumpets, people shouted and Jericho collapsed. Ezekiel 33:4, Hosea 8:1, Zechariah 9:14, Zeph.1:15-16-A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet and alarm. The wicked could not enter into the promised land.
