 A rulebook for the Priests, who were Levites

 Leviticus is the book of laws which springs directly out of God’s covenant with his people at Sinai. Exodus 19-23

 You must be holy, because I, the Lord your God am holy. Leviticus 19:2

  The revelation of the divine character and holiness of God.  The emphasis on the sinfulness of humans and our estrangement from God.  The redemptive ministry of Christ and how we are restored with God.  The body of civil laws from a theocracy (God- ruled) nation that provided a foundation for civil law today. Principles that still have value today
