An Extravagant Victorian Feast (created at

Step 1 We first of all decided what era we wanted to base our menu on (Victorian) and carried out some background research to determine the types of food they had and what a typical meal was like. We selected how many courses and dishes per course were necessary. Fact: Victorians often had 2 course meals with up to 20 dishes.

Step 2 We selected the dishes for the main course and made sure that they were suitable for the time.

Step 3 We then selected the dishes for the pudding and again made sure that they were suitable for the time. Fact: For example we selected afternoon tea because the Victorians invented this.

The menu
