AIR QUALITY IN HONG KONG By Chris Lai

What is air pollution? Air pollution is when the air is filled with poisonous gas or small particles such as nitrogen oxides from vehicles.

Is The air quality in Hong Kong Good or Bad Hong Kong is a very air polluted country. The smog levels have risen very high since 1997.

What Does it Affect? The Hong Kong Medical Association has reascreaches that explain what it affects to our health

Why is it happening? Accordingly to the information, 53% of the time the air pollution is created by coal fired power plants, old diesel trucks and ships.

How can it be stopped? We need to use more public transport. Reduce the use of electricity. Choose air pollution friendly products. Use hybrid cars.

What will happen in the future if we don’t do anything We would all choke to death Plants will die We can’t even see the sun We would have to go to another planet.

What will happen if we do something We would have cleaner air Plants won’t die The sun would be very bright We could stay here for more and more years.
