Marina Gdynia The Marina in Gdynia is situated near the beach, in the Kościuszko Square. You can sail there or take sailing lessons in one of the sailing clubs. It’s about 80 years old. It’s open every day. I really like this place because in summer I spend there a lot of time and I love sailing.

Kościuszko Square Situated in the centre of Gdynia near the city beach. You can go cycling, running, dancing, singing or eating there. It is as old as Gdynia – 87 years old. You can visit it whenever you want, but I don’t recommend going there after midnight. The City Beach The City Beach is near the Baltic Sea, between the Musical Theatre and the Aquarium and near the Kościuszko Square. You can take sun tan there and swim in the sea and build sand castles. You can visit it when it’s hot and sunny or when it’s cold. The beach in Gdynia is important and special because this beach is in the centre of the town.

Gemini Center It is next to the Sea Towers in the Kościuszko Square in Gdynia. You can watch the latest films on the big screen there. You can visit it all year round. There are 8 screens inside. It is not a cinema only, there are also small shops, restaurants and cafes.

The Aquarium The Aquarium is situated at the end of the Kościuszko Square in Gdynia. You can see a lot of fish, turtles and other see animals. You can touch a few of them. You can also see a detailed model of the Baltic Sea. The Aquarium is 42 years old but it doesn’t look so old, it looks modern. Open all year, the Aquarium is especially popular in summer. The place is important because it’s the only place where you can see so many fish and learn something about the sea.

Sea Towers Sea Towers, completed in 2009, are situated in the center of Gdynia, near the Gemini Center. You can buy or rent rooms there, marvel at the landscape at 141m or eat food in a restaurant. They are so important for Gdynia because they are highest buildings in this city and they also represent a modern urban style.

The football stadium The stadium is next to Olimpijska street, between Redłowo and Witomino. Arka Gdynia football club plays and trains there. In this place you can watch league matches and have a good time. The stadium can accommodate 15 thousand people! You can visit it during every league match. This is a very important place because it’s a place of entertainment. You must visit it!!

Kamienna Góra The Kamienna Góra is the best vantage point in Gdynia, from which there is a beautiful panorama of the city. It is located near St. Mary’s church in Gdynia.
