THE MIDDLE AGES During this era, from the 5th until the 15th centuries, the great part of the music was anonymous. We only Know about some body who compile part of the music of This era like a Alfonso the tenth who had called the wise.

SPANISH RENAISSANCE MUSIC In Spain our musicians stood out playing above all two instruments such as the vihuela and the organ. The most important musicians with the organ were Antonio de Cabezón y Francisco Salinas. While in the rest the Europe the main chordophone was the Lute, in Spain was the Vihuela, and the most important musicians were Luis de Narváez, Luis de Milán y Alonso Mudarra.

THE CLASSICISM(XVIIIth) Antonio Francisco Javier José Soler Ramos, usually known as “Padre” was a Spanish composer whose works span the late Baroque and early Classical music eras. He is best known for his keyboard sonatas, an important contribution to the harpsichord, fortepiano and organ repertoire.

THE ROMANTICISM (XIXth) Pablo Sarasate was a Spanish violinist and composer of the Romantic period. Of Sarasate's talents as performer and composer, It said that he "left criticism gasping miles behind him". Sarasate's own compositions are mainly show-pieces designed to demonstrate his exemplary technique.

THE NATIONALISM(XIX-XXTH) Enrique Granados (1867 – 1916) was a Spanish pianist and composer. His music is in a uniquely Spanish style and, as such, is representative of musical nationalism. Isaac Albéniz (1860 – 1909) was a Spanish pianist and composer best known for his piano works based on folk music idioms. Many of his pieces such as Asturias, Granada, Sevilla, Cádiz are amongst the most important pieces for classical guitar.
