Tall Timbers Research Station  The mission of Tall Timbers Research Station & Land Conservancy is to foster exemplary land stewardship through research, conservation and education.

In addition to the 4,000-acre grounds of the research station, Tall Timbers is fortunate to have research access to an exceptional property – the Wade Tract Preserve. The Wade Tract Preserve in Thomas County, Georgia is a 200-acre conservation easement that provides a snapshot of a natural ecosystem as it existed 300 years ago.Wade Tract Preserve

The Red Hills Initiative Often called the land between two rivers, the Red Hills Region is nestled between the scenic Ochlockonee and Aucilla Rivers. Natural, historical, and cultural wonders abound throughout the Red Hills. It was established to promote and conserve the irreplaceable ecological, historical, and cultural resources that provide a cherished way of life for the residents of this distinctive region.
