EEA Agreement Article 115 …With a view to promoting a continuous and balanced strengthening of trade and economic relations between the Contracting Parties agree on the need to reduce the economic and social disparities between their regions…

Greece, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Portugal and Spain €500 mill. in project support, interest rebates on loans amounting to €1.5 billion in the European Investment Bank (EIB) Greece, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Portugal and Spain €119.6 mill new member states joined the EU in 2004 plus Greece, Portugal, Spain €1.3 bill. Bulgaria and Romania received support beneficiary states €1.8 bill. Croatia becomes 16. beneficiary state ?
