Cambi Solidstream® Technology CHP Electricity Steam < 500 kg/tonDS Biogas + 15 – 30% gas from THP hydrolysate Final dewatering (no polymer) Sludge cake > 60% DS Thickened Sludge 5% DS 17% DS 100°C Pre dewatering Applicable to indigenous sludge but temperature increase is limited since a very high flow is heated. DS of thickened sludge has a very high impact on energy balance. Allows all cooling energy to be used for pre-heating at low temperature. Additional pre-heating can be done with engine cooling water. Pre-heating before pre-dewatering will have a positive impact on pre-dewatering and will reduce the polymer consumption of the centrifuge. The use of pre-heating is especially applicable for oxidation ditch projects or in WAS only projects, as this type of sludge is often very difficult to dewater (low DS, high polymer consumption). Pre-heating is a nice alternative for (expensive) fin-fan coolers dumping the heat in the air. Conventional digester 45% VSR SolidStream® Reject water to main WWTP Hydrolysate (soluble COD) to digester

SolidStream® Standardised Design 60 tds/day - 3 x SolidStream® System is easily configured with 1, 2 or 3 lines. All units are standardized for reducing risk in projects. System based on module design.
