Christmas Foods Irish Women bake a seed cake for each member of the house and prepare 3 puddings. ! For each day of Epiphany such as Christmas, New Years day, and the twelfth. Christmas in Ireland lasts until the 6 th of Jan. They bake Christmas cakes pudding and mince pies. Christmas dinner consists of The same dishes of Thanksgiving. Such as turkey, cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes.

Traditions Christmas really brings out the best in Ireland and the Irish from cheerful festivities, to wild acts of Machismo, happy reunions, and musical celebrations in church, and partying for weeks. In Ireland Christmas lasts for about 2 weeks and is joyfully celebrated as a respite from the winter.
