 Fialho de Almeida  Fialho de Almeida, Portuguese writer, ( ) was born in Vila de Frades, a small village of Vidigueira and lived in Cuba.  He said: “God made the man in His image and likeness, and made the critic like the cat…caustic style, sharp claw.   Rota do Fresco (Route of the Fresco)   It is a visit to several churches of the region, which have painted inside them very important murals painted in fresh, one feature of the religious heritage of the southern of Portugal.   The fresco is a technique that began to be used in Italy from the Renaissance, where the paintings are made on a mortar of lime and sand still wet.  Centro de Estudos e Formação Aquiles Estaço, Lda (Portugal) has the double quality of owning the Professional School Fialho de Almeida and at the same time is the promoting entity of this project. It is a Private enterprise in the area of teaching.  The school promotes international projects since 2003: Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius 1, - Language Assistent and Sócrates / Comenius 1, Grundtvig and it is also responsible for local projects.  This Centre was created in the 1st of Septembre 1999 and it is the owner of the Vocational School - Escola Profissional Fialho de Almeida (EPFA).  It provides professional or vocational courses (10 courses), that gives to students the secondary and professional qualifications. The School was born from a contract between the Portuguese Ministry of Education and the City Hall of the villages of Cuba and Vidigueira (in July, 1991). CEFAELong Life Learning24 The Workshop In this workshop we propose to explore the idea of communication in terms of performance and new media. We will explore new and ludic ways to experiment body expression and digital technology. At first the students will do simple exercises of improvisation, gesture, movement and performance. These simple exercises will be recorded in video to establish a creative dialogue between the organic body experience and the virtual image of the camera movement. Subsequently the films will be edited in digital media. The students will experiment in these audiovisual compositions, relations with sound and basic digital effects.
