Monterey Bay Public Employees Trust Hospitals of Distinction 2014 As a result of this recognition, in-patient services for participants who utilize these hospitals will be paid at 90% of covered charges for medically necessary procedures billed to the hospital. Additional services will be covered at your specific plan’s payment schedule; however, your out-of-pocket expenses will be substantially less than comparable services at other facilities.
