THINK ABOUT IT… RESPONSIBILITY Personal and community safety is every resident's responsibility. You have a responsibility to make sure your neighbors are safe. Think about how your actions or non-actions impact your neighbors’ safety RED ZONE During the first few weeks of the term, students are particularly vulnerable to safety risks and crime on campus. New students especially have lowered inhibitions and can be targets for theft, injuries, alcohol/drug overdose and sexual assault. POPULATION Evergreen is just like other high-density living communities in that crime exists. College campuses and college students can sometimes be targeted for their high populations and sometimes vulnerable and inexperienced students We want you to have a positive college experience. You must take your safety and well-being seriously. Follow the safety tips recommended here, know your resources, and look out for your roommates and peers!
