T HE P ROCESS The W-APT test is given (an English proficiency test) The scores of this W-APT test determine whether or not a student is LEP (Limited English Proficient)

T HE P ROCESS If a student is LEP, they can receive ESL services and possibly some accommodations on state tests. If a student is NOT LEP, they are not served by the ESL teacher and DO NOT receive accommodations on state tests.
