Status of Electron ID Yoon 20 June 2006 DONUT meeting

1.Selection by 4 steps (previous presentation) 2.Further selection by 3D viewer check (this work) 3.Manual scanning (next step) E-id procedure

Among 142 tracks selected in step 4, using 3D viewer, we select the tracks of following shape. Selection by 3D viewer check After that, by comparing tracks with wider allowance of Δθ and Δr (0.02 rad, 100 mm), we can reject the penetrating tracks.

Step4 / all 1ry trk (no trk id = no m-file) Mod 1 32 / 116 (41) Candi 4 No-candi 28 (Single tr, cross, penetrate ) Mod 2 15 / 128 (46) Candi 4 No-candi 11 Mod 3 31 / 113 (28) Candi 7 No-candi 24 Mod 4 17 / 73 (23) Candi 4 No-candi 13 Mod 5 6 / 42 (14) Candi 3 No-candi 3 Mod 7 40 / 154 (35) Candi 9 No-cand 31 Mod 8 1 / 24 (12) Candi 1 No-candi Total 142 / 650 (199) Total Candidates: 32 tracks Results of 3D viewer check

32 candidate tracks were selected by 3D viewer check among 142 tracks (first selection from 650 tracks). Manaul scanning is needed for the 32 candidate tracks. No-candidate tracks assocated with 1 segment are also needed to check. M-files for the rest of tracks (199 tracks) are needed. Next Step
