PEM Panther Enrichment Model

What is PEM? It is a time when you get to choose a topic YOU are interested and learn more about it! PEM stands for Panther Enrichment Model.

One hour on Friday mornings devoted to YOUR choice of subject.

Today you will… Learn what topics are being offered. Make your choice of which to do You have a piece of paper with you. As we go through the slides, jot down the topics you are interested in. At the end of the slide show, you will number your choices from first choice to third choice. Then, you will be allowed to sign up for one of your choices.

Do your parents call you a drama queen or king? Do you love to be in the spot light? Are you creative and outgoing? Does sharing new knowledge with others excite you? If you answered yes to any of these questions than Dramatic Lessons is the SEM for you. In Dramatic Lessons we will: write plays to teach others in a dramatic way design costumes and sets perform in front of live audiences Come prepared for a creative adventure!!!

Come join this group to grow as a leader and to help make our school a better place to learn! I am excited to hear your ideas! Panther Leaders The purpose is to have a fun time supporting the school through a service learning project and at the same time, develop your skills as a leader! The group will decide on a project that helps to make Ridgecrest a better school! Got any good ideas? Students will come up with a plan to complete the project, take pictures and share with the entire school on RCTV.

Rescue the Animals! Rescuing one animal won’t change the world, but for that one animal the world is changed forever. Collect supplies needed by animal rescue groups. Learn how to take care of your animals properly. Listen to speakers tell their stories about rescues. Find out what else you can do to help!

In “Jewelry from Trash” we’ll find ways to make trash beautiful again! What can you do with plastic bottles, old magazines, old puzzle pieces and other trash? MAKE JEWELRY! Repurposed Jewelry
