SAPR DoD Instruction Personnel able to perform sexual assault forensic examinations: Licensed physicians with clinical privileges in emergency medicine, family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics/ gynecology, urology, general medical officer, undersea medical officer, flight surgeon, and/or those privileged to perform pelvic examinations Licensed advanced practice registered nurses with clinical privileges in adult health, family health, midwifery, women’s health, and/or privileged to perform pelvic examinations Licensed physician assistants with clinical privileges in adult, family, women’s health and/or privileged to perform pelvic examinations Licensed registered nurses who meet requirements for perform a SAFE as determined by the local privileging authority.
