Females can have 1- 3 kits in a litter. Kits are born blind and helpless. Kits stay under ground until they are two months old Then the female begins to take her young on hunting voyages. Like us, black footed ferrets are mammals. They grow up to two feet in length. Black footed ferrets have a long neck and a black marking on its face, the tip of its tale, and on its feet.
