How To Prepare for Worship as a Leader “I want all or nothing.” Deuteronomy 6: 4-9 says, “4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. How do we prepare to worship? A Committed Devotional Life Recognition and acknowledgement of the holiness of God. Leviticus 20:7-8, “You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. 8 And you shall keep my statutes and practice them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you.” Leviticus teaches God's people how they are to approach Him and live pleasing in His sight. Some practical things to help make you more ready for Sunday: Lay out your clothes the night before Go to bed much earlier than usual Fasting until church service is over on Sunday But it’s really much more than that a few “tips” that will prepare you to come into the presence of the holy, true and living God. For it is truly a matter of the heart, mind and soul.
