 Britain was invaded in 43 A.C. by the emperor Claudio.  They left Britain in 410 A.C. because the Saxons invaded Britain.

 In 55 B.C. the Romans tried to invade Britain, but failed.  In 54 B.C. they tried again, but were unsuccessful even though they had 30,000 warriors.

 The majority of people were farmers and they lived in small villages. There were also craftsmen who made jewels.

 Clothing in ancient Rome generally consisted of the toga, the tunic, the stola, brooches, and breeches.

 The Roman religion was polytheistic.  Their gods were
