WHO IS THE MAN?

HE’S THE RESURRECTED JESUS.

1 Peter 1:3-9

Listen up. Here is what God wants you to know.

Don’t look at things from the world’s view but from Heaven’s view.

The resurrection can give you a new mindset that put all the promises of Christ into action in your life.

“What is this “living hope” that the resurrection of Jesus gives His followers and how can it help them?

“How can we be a part of this living hope?”

Verse 3 “We are born anew, and this new birth comes through the resurrection of Jesus.

Verses further explains that we have been born anew through the living and abiding word of God.

Connecting the historical resurrection of Jesus and our lives over 2,000 years later is the Word of God, the Gospel.

When we get the news of Jesus death and resurrection from the Word of God then we have a CHOICE.

Will we ask for this living hope to live in us?

HOW DOES THIS CHANGE THINGS?

Verses 4-5 We have a hope of the return of Jesus and the establishment of a new Heaven and new earth.

Verses 6-9 When this hope is ours it changes our outlook on life and produces joy and the glory of God in us.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” Hebrews 12:2.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it” (Philippians 1:6).
