SCCS Cyber Planets Online classrooms for grades 2-8

What are Cyber Planets? Cyber Planets are secure online elementary school classrooms. The classroom includes secure , chatrooms & bulletin boards. The classrooms allow teachers to monitor their students activities while logged into the classroom at school or even at home.

The Cyber Planets also include "Subject Stuff". –The websites found in this area have been evaluated and include web sites and activities for students divided by subject area. –Be confident that your students are not only on safe sites, but also educational sites!

Technology Courses Grades 4-8 Cyber Planets include Video Based Computer lessons. These computer lessons cover the entire scope and sequence of grades 4 & 5 computers. The lessons are usable by grades 6-8 students. The lessons are easily integrated into any subject or theme being covered in the regular classroom. Students can access these lessons from any Internet connection.

Math Resources The grades 7 & 8 Cyber Planets include Math resources. The math resources contain lessons and questions covering each objective of grade 7 and 8 math The lessons are additional resources to aid in the instruction of math in grade 7 & 8 Students can access these resources from any Internet connection.

AOK12S The goal of the Association is to provide a location where K-12 online educators, developers and administrators can gather. This virtual community will offer an environment which will be conducive to communication, resource sharing and team building. People from all nations should feel welcome to apply for membership as long as they are K-12 online educators, developers or administrators. Schools as a whole or individuals may also become members.

Registration Instructions 1.Register for the Association of On-Line K-12 Schooling (Free membership for all educators) Register for a Cyber Planet (s) via the Cyber School web site You will be contacted via with log on instructions once your registration is processed.
