CYBER POWERPC GAMER ULTRA Ashton Kirk 11/18/14

USER NEEDS The whole point of buying this computer is so I can play games like COD and personal use like Facebook.

CPU (Central Processing Unit) is an older term for a processor and microprocessor, the central unit in a computer containing the logic circuitry that performs the instructions of a computer's programs.

RAM DRIVE The RAM drive I have chosen is a G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series. This RAM drive comes with 12GB’s of storage and is perfect for gaming and storing lots of memory on. The price of this RAM drive is $169.99* (Random Access Memory) is the place in the computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processer.

HARD DRIVE The Hard Drive I have chosen is a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM This amazing is semi-cheap and has a good 6GB of storage. Great for storing games with a lot of MB’s or GB’s. The price of this Hard Drive is $64.97*

CD/DVD DRIVE The CD/DVD Drive I have chosen is the ASUS Black SATA DVD ROM drive. The price for this ROM drive is $19.99* (Read-Only Memory) is "built-in" computer memory containing data that normally can only be read, not written to. ROM contains the programming that allows your computer to be "booted up" or regenerated each time you turn it on. Unlike a computer's random access memory (RAM), the data in ROM is not lost when the computer power is turned off. The ROM is sustained by a small long-life battery in your computer.

VIDEO CARD The Video Card I have chosen is the VisionTek AMD Radeon HD 6570 SFF This video card is meant for high quality gaming and high graphics the price is fairly pricey at $ A card (or expansion card, board, or adapter) is circuitry designed to provide expanded capability to a computer. It is provided on the surface of a standard-size rigid material (fiberboard or something similar) and then plugged into one of the computer's expansion slots in its motherboard (or backplane). Cards may come in one of two sizes designed to match standard slot dimensions. A card can actually contain the capability within its circuitry (as a video card does) or it can control (through an extended connection) a device (such as a hard disk drive).

SOUND CARD The sound card I have chosen is the Creative Labs Sound Blaster. 24-bit, 192kHz, 116 dB The price of this sound card is $137.99*

MONITOR The monitor I have chosen is the Samsung S24D390HL This monitor has 1MS response time which to me is phenomenal. The price of this monitor is $119.99* in computers, a monitor is a computer display and related parts packaged in a physical unit that is separate from other parts of the computer. Notebook computers don't have monitors because all the display and related parts are integrated into the same physical unit with the rest of the computer. In practice, the terms monitor and display are used interchangeably.

HDMI CORD The HDMI cord I have chosen is the XTREME GAMING 2.4M (8') HIGH SPEED HDMI CABLE This HDMI cable is $39.99*

OPERATING SYSTEM The operating system I would run my computer on would be Windows 8 because it’s the newest program they’ve brought out and its amazing. The price of Windows 8 is $119.99*
