To Europe To Russia To Europe To Russia To Europe To Iran FOPNET (BAKU-TBILISI-POTI-NOVOROSSIISK) System operates under different local companies in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia but whole system really controlled by Russia. The cable contains 8 SM fibers. Trans-Caucasus Railway Fiber System System operates under different local companies in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. The cable contains 12 SM fibers. Russia use this cable for providing the European internet (from Turkey) to Baku and upper to Russia. Russia also plans using this cable for connecting to Iran Black See Fiber Cable System (POTI-VARNA) This system is only system which connects Region to the west without “loop to Russia” The cable contains 4 SM fibers and can be used as a multiply wavelength (up to 96) spectrum. At moment they use only 2 – one for 10Gb TCP/IP link and another for voice. The International Wide-Band Connections
