Program ILOs (Knowledge) By the end of the program, graduates will have a foundation of knowledge and deep understanding of:  The normal structure and functions of the body and of its major organ system  The altered structure and function of the body and its major organ system

Program ILOs (general skills) By the end of the program the graduates will be able to:  Communicate effectively both oral and written with patients, families and colleagues

Program ILOs (Intellectual skills) By the end of the program, the graduates be able to:  Retrieve, manage and utilize biomedical information for solving problems and taking decisions  Pose clinical questions, retrieve relevant electronic data and critically appraise them

Program ILOs (Professional skills) By the end of the program, the graduate should be able to:  Perform routine technical procedures  Perform both complete and organ specific examination  Recognize patients with life/organ threatening conditions and institute initial therapy

Program ILOs (Attitudes) By the end of the program, the graduates will be able to:  Treat the patient as a person, not as a disease respecting his values, goals and concerns  Behave in an honest and integrated way in all interactions with patients, families and colleagues  Respect the role of other health care professionals and collaborate with others in caring for individual patients

WFME Standards  The medical school must incorporate in its curriculum the contributions of the behavioral sciences, social sciences, medical ethics and medical jurisprudence that enable effective communications, clinical decision making and ethical practice

WFME  The medical faculty must design a curriculum that provides a general professional education, and fosters in students the ability to learn in a self-directed, independent way throughout their professional life “ life-long learning"

LCME  The curriculum must incorporate the fundamental principles of medicine and its underlying scientific concepts, allow students to acquire skills in solving problems of health and disease.
