Role play 4 students in a group Each choose a role (Martha, Bob, David, Greg) Continue the interview After the interview, Martha and Bob discuss whether they will hire the interviewees Present the mini-play to the whole class

Sum-up Jenny, the receptionist at McDouglas Hamburger Restaurants, takes a phone message for someone who is out of the office. Martha Bennett, an executive, comes in and hands Jenny an application belonging to someone interested in the manager's job that she is trying to fill. The applicant's name is David Jones, and Martha asks Jenny to schedule him for an interview at 10:15 the following morning. As Martha is about to leave, Bob Anderson enters. He tells Martha that he thinks they need to hire a clown, and Martha enthusiastically agrees. Martha remembers having received a resume from someone with clown experience. Jenny finds it and Martha hands it to Bob. He asks Jenny to schedule an interview with the applicant, Greg Johnes, at 10:00 the next morning. The following day, David Johns arrives at 10:00 a.m. and Jenny sends him in to see Ms. Bennett. It soon becomes clear that there has been a mistake: Jenny mixed up the two applicants’ files, The two applicants and the two executives laugh at the prospect of a clown being hired as a manager and a manager being hired as a clown.
