Entrance Hymn We Remember We remember how you loved us to Your death,  And still we celebrate for You are with us here.  And we believe that we will see You when you come in Your glory, Lord. We remember, we celebrate, we believe!  Now we recreate you love,  We bring the bread and wine to share a meal;  Sign of grace and mercy, the Presence of the Lord.

Entrance Hymn We Remember We remember how you loved us to Your death,  And still we celebrate for You are with us here.  And we believe that we will see You when you come in Your glory, Lord. We remember, we celebrate, we believe!  Christ, the Father’s great “Amen”  To all the hopes and dreams of every heart;  Peace beyond all telling, and freedom from all fear.

Introductory Rites

First Reading Eph 1:11-14 It is in Christ that we were claimed as God’s own, chosen from the beginning, under the predetermined plan of the one who guides all things as he decides by his own will; chosen to be, for his greater glory, the people who would put their hopes in Christ before he came. Now you too, in him, have heard the message of the truth and the good news of your salvation, and have believed it;

First Reading Eph 1:11-14 V: The Word of the Lord. and you too have been stamped with the seal of the Holy Spirit of the Promise, pledge of our inheritance which brings freedom for those who God has taken for his own, to make his glory praised. V: The Word of the Lord. R: Thanks be to God.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 33:1-2,4-5,12-13 R: Happy the people the Lord has chosen as his own. Ring out your joy to the Lord, O you just; for praise is fitting for loyal hearts. Give thanks to the Lord upon the harp, with a ten-stringed lute sing him songs. R

Responsorial Psalm Ps 33:1-2,4-5,12-13 For the word of the Lord is faithful and all his works to be trusted. The Lord loves justice and right and fills the earth with his love. R R: Happy the people the Lord has chosen as his own.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 33:1-2,4-5,12-13 They are happy, whose God is the Lord, the people he has chosen as his own. From the heavens the Lord looks forth, he sees all the children of men. R
 R: Happy the people the Lord has chosen as his own.

Gospel Acclamation (Please stand) Alleluia, alleluia! Your words gladden the heart, O Lord, they give light to the eyes.

Gospel Lk 12:1-7 The people had gathered in their thousands so that they were treading on one another. And Jesus began to speak, first of all to his disciples. ‘Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees – that is, their hypocrisy. Everything that is now covered will be uncovered, and everything now hidden will be made clear. For this reason, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in hidden places will be proclaimed on the housetops.’

Gospel Lk 12:1-7 V: This is the Gospel of the Lord. ‘To you my friends I say: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. I will tell you who to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has the power to cast into hell. Yes I tell you, fear him. Can you not buy five sparrows for two pennies? And yet not one is forgotten in God’s sight. Why, every hair on your head has been counted. There is no need to be afraid: you are worth more than hundreds of sparrows.’ V: This is the Gospel of the Lord. R: Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

Homily

Prayers of the Faithful For our Mother Church, may she be as gentle with the faithful as a mother with her babies, and may her leaders be compassionate, tolerant, and accepting servants of God’s children. V: Let Us Pray to the Lord. R: O Lord, hear our prayers.

Prayers of the Faithful For all Christians, may we be humble stewards of the gifts given to us by God, and may we set an example of mercy and generosity by becoming involved in efforts to distribute the worlds wealth among all of those in need. V: Let Us Pray to the Lord. R: O Lord, hear our prayers.

Prayers of the Faithful That the world’s lawmakers and rulers defend the holiness of life, especially when faced with temptation in the culture of death. V: Let Us Pray to the Lord. R: O Lord, hear our prayers.

Prayers of the Faithful For the poor, the homeless, the addicted, and those begging on the street, may we not turn away from them, no matter how distasteful and offensive their circumstances might be, and instead may we earnestly attempt to lighten their load by taking it upon ourselves. V: Let Us Pray to the Lord. R: O Lord, hear our prayers.

Prayers of the Faithful For those tormented by disease, depression, addiction, abuse, and hopelessness, and for those who love and suffer with them, may they be comforted by God’s love and God’s promise of deliverance. V: Let Us Pray to the Lord. R: O Lord, hear our prayers.

Community Prayer Abba Father, We thank You and praise You for having called us here as one community. We humbly ask for Your grace, that with the Holy Spirit, we may strive to be a Eucharist-centred community; persevering in our journey of faith with one another. And by the fruits of love, peace and joy, we may bear strong witness to Your love by reaching out to our brothers and sisters here on campus. Together with Mary, our Mother, and Saint Thomas Aquinas, our patron saint, we commit ourselves to Your will, through Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer for Vocation Lord Jesus, as You once called the first disciples to make them fishers of men, let Your sweet invitation continue to resound: Come follow Me! Give young men and women the grace of responding quickly to Your voice. Support our bishops, priests and consecrated people in their apostolic labour. Grant perseverance to our seminarians and to all those who are carrying out the ideal of a life totally consecrated to Your service.

Prayer for Vocation Awaken in our community a missionary eagerness. Lord, send workers to Your harvest and do not allow humanity to be lost for the lack of pastors, missionaries and people dedicated to the cause of the Gospel. Mary, Mother of the Church, the model of every vocation, help us to say "yes" to the Lord who calls us to cooperate in the divine plan of salvation. Amen

Offertory hymn We are many Parts We are many parts, we are all one body. And the gifts we have we are given to share. May the Spirit of love, make us one indeed. One, the love that we share; one, our hope in despair, one, the cross that we bear. God of all, we look to you, we would be your servants true, let us be your love to all the world.

Offertory hymn We are many Parts We are many parts, we are all one body. And the gifts we have we are given to share. May the Spirit of love, make us one indeed. One, the love that we share; one, our hope in despair, one, the cross that we bear. So my pain is pain for you, in your joy is my joy too, all is brought together in the Lord.

Offertory hymn We are many Parts We are many parts, we are all one body. And the gifts we have we are given to share. May the Spirit of love, make us one indeed. One, the love that we share; one, our hope in despair, one, the cross that we bear. All you seekers great and small, seek the greatest gift of all if you love then you will know the Lord.

Liturgy of the Eucharist

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
 For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.

The Sign of Peace

Agnus Dei Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us.
 grant us peace.

Communion hymn I am the Bread of Life The bread that I will give Is My flesh for the life of the world, And he who eats of this bread, He shall live for ever, He shall live for ever. And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up on the last day.

Communion hymn I am the Bread of Life Unless you eat Of the flesh of the Son of Man And drink of His blood, And drink of His blood, You shall not have life within you. And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up on the last day.

Concluding Rite

Recessional hymn Be not afraid You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst. You shall wander far in safety though you do not know the way.  You shall speak your words in foreign lands and all will understand.  You shall see the face of God and live.  Be not afraid. I go before you always. Come follow me, and I will give you rest.

Recessional hymn Be not afraid If you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown. If you walk amid the burning flames, you shall not be harmed. If you stand before the pow'r of hell and death is at your side,  know that I am with you through it all.  Be not afraid. I go before you always. Come follow me, and I will give you rest.

Recessional hymn Be not afraid Blessed are your poor, for the kingdom shall be theirs. Blest are you that weep and mourn,  for one day you shall laugh. And if wicked men insult and hate you all because of Me, blessed, blessed are you!  Be not afraid. I go before you always. Come follow me, and I will give you rest.
