“He [Adam] answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."” (Genesis, 3: 10) Fear got into man when sin appeared. Fear and sin will disappear at the same time. Nevertheless, God’s Word is plenty of promises which help us to get rid of fear.

DON’T BE AFRAID “Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them” (Numbers 14:9) Of your enemies When you are doing the work of God “David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished” (1 Chronicles 28:20) Of destruction “You need not fear when destruction comes” (Job 5:21) Of the beasts of the earth “You need not fear the beasts of the earth” (Job 5:22) “Then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear” (Job 11:15) When you have a clean conscience

DON’T BE AFRAID “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4) Of any evil, because God is with you Even if there are earthquakes “Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea” (Psalm 46:2) In evil days “Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me?” (Psalm 49:5) When someone grows rich “Do not be overawed when a man grows rich, when the splendour of his house increases” (Psalm 49:16) “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day” (Psalm 91:5) Of the terror of night

DON’T BE AFRAID “He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord” (Psalm 112:7) Of bad news Of what man can do to you “The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Psalm 118:6) Of harm “But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm” (Proverbs 1:33) Of what the wicked fear “Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it” (Isaiah 8:12) “Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have my law in your hearts: Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults” (Isaiah 51:7) Of any insult

DON’T BE AFRAID “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them” (Jeremiah 1:17) “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent” (Acts 18:9) Of preaching the Gospel Of those who can kill you “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more” (Luke 12:4) Of the problems you could have when preaching the Gospel “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10)

BE AFRAID “Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28) Of those who can kill your soul Of doing evil “For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer” (Romans 13:3-4)

DON’T BE AFRAID, TRUST GOD “After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward” (Genesis 15:1) God is your shield God hears you “God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, "What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there"” (Genesis 21:17) God is with you “That night the Lord appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham” (Genesis 26:24) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9) “He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's“” (2 Chronicles 20:15) God fights for you

The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation” (Isaiah 12:2) God will be just “Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you"” (Isaiah 35:4) DON’T BE AFRAID, TRUST GOD

“This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear” (Haggai 2:5) The Holy Spirit is with you You are really valuable for God “So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows” (Matthew 10:31) “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32) We are heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven DON’T BE AFRAID, TRUST GOD “For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you” (Isaiah 41:13) God leads you

BENEFITS OF TRUSTING GOD 1.The peace, the assurance, the hope that faith gives believers no doubt can bring about mental attitudes that will impact our overall health. 2.A merry heart can, indeed, be like medicine—even better, because so often medicine can come with deleterious side effects. 3.Knowing and experiencing for yourself the reality of God’s love can have such a calming effect, greatly reducing stress and the negative health consequences that often follow it. Jesus, knowing for yourself His love and care. This can be done through daily reading of the Word, through prayer, through talking to the Lord as if with a friend, and through contemplating His character as revealed in nature and Scripture. 4.Faith can either produce miraculous healing of illnesses or have an influence on natural processes that lead to healing.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
