The Nativity By JOSEPH

Long ago in Nazareth the angel Gabriel appeared and told Mary and Joseph they were going to have a baby. They had to call him Jesus. He was the son of God.

They went to Bethlehem to be registered. It was packed full of people and there was no where to stay. A kind innkeeper let Mary and Joseph stay in an old stable.

Mary gave birth to Jesus in that stable. She wrapped Jesus in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger full of hay.

An angel appeared to a group of shepherds and told them, “Don’t be afraid, I bring you good news. Today Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is born”.

When Jesus was born a bright star appeared in the sky. Three wise old men from the East followed the star to find their future King. They brought gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
