 Some Christians and Muslims believe that punishment should happen but it is to change the criminal (Reform)  God will judge them in the end  However other Christians and Muslims are pro capital/ corporeal punishment- Sharia Law ( Islamic Law)- allows such punishments to teach others how not to behave.  Lots of Christians in America are pro death penalty ‘eye for an eye ’.
