  On his 48 th birthday, Doug decides to kill Ralph for treating him poorly as a kid. Exposition

  Doug takes the train to childhood town.  Plans the murder.  Doug goes to Ralph’s house. Rising Action

  Ralph is old and instead of shooting Doug whispers, “Bang.” Climax

  Doug walks away from Ralph.  Visit his childhood home and throws pebbles. Falling Action

  Doug’s young self joins his adult self.  Doug leaves the pain of the past behind. Resolution
