Traditional Story Traditional stories have been passed on from generation to generation. There are different versions of these stories. MYTHS LEGENDS TALL TALES FOLKTALES

Legend Believed to be based on real people and real events. Features heroes and heroines.

Tall Tale Humorous story about events and characters that are exaggerated

Folktale They are about humans or animals and teach a lesson.
