The answer: 1 John 2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
The answer: 1 John 2:1-2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

The Answer: 1 John 2:20-23 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.
The Answer: 1 John 2:20-23 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
Question: Can dogma be a test for authentic Christianity? Dogma is the universal truths of the Christian faith. Authentic Christianity is demonstrated by believing that Jesus is fully God, fully human, fully both at the same time.
Bottom Line: When our lives reflect the belief that Jesus is fully God, fully human, fully both at the same time, that Jesus is Lord…we are living “authentic Christianity”!

For Those who are following the Jesus of the Bible… Lean hard on your anointing. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. (1 John 1:20 NIV)
