Pre-reading What is the main food in all East Asian and Southeast Asian countries? Rice. It is said that there are 2.4 billion people to eat rice every day throughout the world.

Hunger They have a common problem. That is ——

More than 800 million people go to bed hungry every day. - the World Health Organization (WHO) About 24,000 people die of hunger or hunger-related causes every day. Three- fourths of the deaths are children under the age of five.

What can we do to solve the problem?

The best way to solve the food shortage problem is to increase the output through the advancement of science and technology.
