EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION HURO/1101/010/2.4.1

 The development of the Emergency Unit  The purchase of the necessary equipment for the radiological diagnosis of the patients  The organization of workshops and of international and Romanian- Hungarian conferences on medical themes  Mass information campaigns regarding the impact of a healthy way of life upon the citizens  The joining of the two project partners by purchasing a telediagnosis system  The implementation of a video conference system EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION

 The primary objective of the project is the accomplishment of an Emergency Department and of ambulatory medical care in the Lugoj region, services meant to increase the chances for rehabilitation of the health of the population in the area, and affecting indirectly time and the hospitalization expenses  The fulfillment of the terms necessary for the achievement of a rapider and safer emergency assistance EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION

 At the present moment the Emergency Unit functions in the semi-basement of the main building of the hospital. The ambulances access this unit through an alley, which goes round the whole main building  Due to the fact that the Emergency Unit is located in the semi- basement and the Radiology department on the ground floor of the same building, the lack of an elevator makes the access of the patients at these services even more difficult EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION

 By developing the project, we aim at relocating the Emergency Unit from the semi-basement to the ground floor of the central building, facilitating so the access of the ambulances with the help of an auto ramp  By doing so we can assure a higher level of comfort for our patients and we can also improve of the functional quality of our services  The assembly of an elevator will ensure an easier access of the stretchers carrying patients with polytraumatisms EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION

 The accessibility to the radiology services will improve and facilitate the multidisciplinary medical management  The number of patients attended at the same time will grow from 3-4 at the present moment, to 8-10 in the future EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION

 Because in the Municipal Hospital “Dr. Teodor Andrei” Lugoj the technical conditions are poorer than those in the Hungarian partner hospital, the project leader intends to purchase a digital X-ray machine which allows the connection at the telediagnosis system, corroborated with the development of the infrastructure and of the information system EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION

 At the Municipal Hospital “Dr. Teodor Andrei” Lugoj the X-ray machines and the professional medical expertise must be strongly developed  At the present moment, few radiologists work at the Municipal Hospital “Dr. Teodor Andrei” Lugoj and that is why the professional discussions among physicians on this theme are very seldom EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN THE OUT-PATIENTS’ DEPARTMENTS, WITHOUT BORDERS- THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND OF THE ATTITUDE IN THE LUGOJ- MAKO REGION
